Alex Marquez broke his brother Marc Marquez’s winning streak in 2025 MotoGP sprint races by triumphing on his Gresini Ducati at the British Grand Prix on Saturday. Marc relinquished an early lead due to a mistake and settled for a solid second place, maintaining a 19-point lead over Alex in the championship. Polesitter Fabio Quartararo couldn’t capitalize on his fast one-lap speed, losing the lead to Marc and then to Alex, who controlled the race effectively. Francesco Bagnaia started well but was overtaken early, finishing third behind di Giannantonio. Bezzecchi and Zarco secured fourth and fifth positions, while Quartararo slipped down the order to finish just behind Bagnaia in sixth place. Acosta and Miller completed the top eight in the MotoGP British Grand Prix sprint race.
